Husband

My husband is my heart and essence

He’s always within me with his compassionate presence

He’s continually there to appease my blackest fears

And in his wisdom to catch my falling tears

When I’ve fallen into my bottomless pit

He’s consistently there to wrench me out of it

With his benevolent nature I feel him at my side

When I get the compulsion to submerge myself and hide

His temperament is to give, not expecting to receive

Our bond is so powerful that I know he would never leave.

We’re partners and best friends, for eternity we will blend

I know we will be one single entity till the very fervent end
